Verein Netzwerk Logistik (VNL), Austria’s largest and most influential logistics association, is pleased to announce its membership in the European Logistics Association (ELA).
The ELA is a network of more than 20 logistics associations from across Europe working together to promote excellence, innovation and sustainability in logistics. This membership opens up new horizons for the VNL and its members and consolidates its position as a pioneer in Austrian logistics.
For Franz Staberhofer, Chairman of VNL, the admission to the ELA is a confirmation of years of consistent work: “We are proud to be part of the European Logistics Association from now on and look forward to this cooperation with great anticipation. This membership expands our international network and will enable us to further advance our vision of sustainable, more efficient and innovative logistics in Austria. I am also delighted that the winner of the Austrian Logistics Award, which is presented annually at our Austrian Logistics Day, can now also take part in the ELA Award.”
Markus Mau, ELA President emphasizes: “VNL has a strong network in the Austrian logistics sector and is the ideal extension of ELA. Thanks to VNL’s strong network in the Austrian logistics sector and its recognized role as a hub for problem solving and innovative logistics methods, we are delighted with the options we have gained. The Verein Netzwerk Logistik’s commitment to logistics education and the organization of important industry events fits perfectly with the ELA’s goals of promoting logistics as a professional field and expanding our international network. VNL’s active involvement in projects and collaborations will contribute significantly to the ELA’s mission to promote innovation and best practices in logistics across Europe.”
