In partnership with HAROPA PORT, Seafrigo Group is continuing to develop and is starting construction of a new 13,000 sq. m. facility located in Le Havre’s port area.
The new building will be dedicated to frozen food flows for super- and hypermarkets and agrifood manufacturers. It will be capable of handling 35,000 pallets and equipped with Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) trucks to optimise productivity when handling loads.
Environmental testing has been completed and construction will begin before the end of the second quarter of 2023 with a view to commissioning in the last quarter of 2024.
The new facility is a substantial investment for the Group at the port of Le Havre and will lead to the creation of numerous jobs.
Eric Barbé, Chairman of the Seafrigo Group: “Through our historic partnership with HAROPA PORT we can continue to develop the Group at the heart of Le Havre’s port area to offer our customers additional capacity for the storage of frozen foods in latest-generation facilities.
